Excellus BlueCross BlueShield recently named Megan Bunce as community investments and partnerships manager for the company’s Rochester region.
Her responsibilities in this role include overseeing strategic investments, advancing health equity to improve health outcomes and drive strategy-aligned employee engagement with community-based organizations through board involvement and other volunteer opportunities.
Bunce has been with the health plan for more than five years, serving most recently as a case manager with foster care population and membership.
For more than 15 years, Bunce worked very closely with high-risk children, youth and families and played a key role to drive change, improve programs, and bring together internal and external stakeholders to create a healthier environment for these individuals.
Bunce and her wife reside in Irondequoit along with their two cats, Cameron and Cora.
