Rochester Regional Hospital physicians earn recognition

Robert Mayo

Two physician leaders from Rochester Regional Health have been recognized nationally by Becker’s Hospital Review for their leadership in advancing clinical strategy, quality, and patient care across the communities they serve.

Physicians Robert Mayo, executive vice president and chief medical officer, and Andrew Williams, chief medical officer for Rochester Regional Health’s St. Lawrence Region, were named among Becker’s 2026 chief medical officers to know, a national recognition highlighting physician executives shaping the future of hospital and health system leadership.

The annual list recognizes clinical leaders whose work strengthens medical staff collaboration, advances patient safety and quality, and guides health systems through the evolving landscape of care delivery.
