Embrace Your Sisters (EYS) announces its 2025 Positively Pink in Pittsford Walk Fundraiser will take place at 9 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, starting at Pittsford Sutherland High School parking lot.
Walk with friends, family, coworkers to support breast cancer patients living in a 13-county area around Rochester. The walk covers 1.8 miles along the Erie Canal and is dog-friendly.
At 10 am, the walk begins through residential Pittsford and along the Erie Canal. This year’s collection goal is $25,000. Walkers raising $30 or more will receive a T-shirt at the event. Since its founding, EYS has raised over $700,000 with the help of sponsors, friends and business partners, to meet short-term emergency funding needs of breast cancer patients, across the Finger Lakes region. Many people diagnosed with breast cancer are unable to work during their illness or treatment, adding a huge financial toll to an already difficult struggle.
Assistance from EYS eases financial difficulties and helps patients focus on their health and families.
