All in-person meetings are held at nonprofit’s Alexander Street offices unless stated on the nonprofit’s calendar. Those who want to join groups must become members of Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club. Anyone can join and membership is free, though new members must fill out some forms, including a confidentiality agreement.

A peer-to-peer model to support parents who have a child who is undergoing treatment for cancer or a chronic blood disorder. The Parent Advocates are parents who have gone through that experience, and can provide emotional support during that difficult time.
• Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Parent Networking Support Group

The term “fetal alcohol spectrum disorders” (FASDs) describes a constellation of effects that are seen in those who have had prenatal exposure to alcohol. This group provides networking opportunities and support for parents of children with FASD.
