Executive director appointed at Quail Summit

St. Ann’s Community announced the appointment of Vanessa Brookes as the new executive director of Quail Summit, a St. Ann’s Community partner located in the heart of the

Finger Lakes. Quail Summit is a senior living community offering independent living, enriched living, and memory care in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Brookes brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in senior living and aging services. She is widely recognized for her dedication to resident-centered care, continuous quality improvement, and fostering positive organizational culture. She holds degrees in gerontology and public administration and was honored with the Woman of Distinction: Rising Star award by McKnight’s Senior Living for her impactful leadership in the field.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Brookes is a certified culture consultant, a dementia care specialist instructor, and a graduate of the Yale Women’s Leadership Program. Her career has been defined by a commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams and enhancing the lives of older adults through meaningful engagement and operational excellence.
