Janczak promoted to VP at Thompson Health

UR Medicine Thompson Health recently named Mathew Janczak of Farmington as its new vice president of long-term care.

Janczak holds a bachelor’s in systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He served in three combat deployments while in the Navy, earning two Air Medals in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

Janczak holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and a New York State Nursing Home Administrator license.

One year after joining Thompson as a physical therapist in 2012, Janczak became manager of the rehabilitation services department at its 178-bed M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center. He was named assistant administrator of the facility in 2020.
