Stephanie M. Chalupa has been appointed to the position of senior director of certified home health agency services at UR Medicine Home Care (URMHC).
Chalupa has broad home health care knowledge from her years of experience as a clinician, clinical manager, and most recently as the director of certified home health agency (CHHA) services in the Finger Lakes at URMHC.
She obtained her nursing degree from the University of Rochester School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in economics from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She is currently working toward a master’s degree in health care management and leadership at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Her goal in this challenging new leadership role is to utilize and enhance her knowledge and skills to help facilitate the provision of quality patient care across the continuum of care.
Chalupa was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, is of Ukrainian descent and is fluent in English, French and Ukrainian. She moved to the U.S. in 1994 and has been a Penfield resident for the past 23 years.
In addition to her career and educational pursuits, her husband Michael and she have been busy raising three children, Maksym 21, Brianna 17, John 15.
